The inspection cycle began on January 1, 2022, and ends on December 31, 2027.
Inspections are divided into three sub-cycles based on community districts (CDs):some text
- Sub-Cycle 1A: Manhattan CDs 1–7 (2022–2023)
- Sub-Cycle 1B: Remaining Manhattan CDs and Brooklyn (2024–2025)
- Sub-Cycle 1C: Bronx, Queens, and Staten Island (2026–2027)
